At HAAT, we believe technology should do more than connect people to products and services. It should create opportunities for people to support one another and take action when it matters most. This Eid al-Adha, we put that belief into practice. Through the HAAT app, thousands of users joined an initiative designed to help families prepare for the holiday. What made this initiative unique was not only its impact, but also how that impact was achieved: by making participation simple, accessible, and integrated into an app that people already use every day. With just a few taps, users were able to contribute through digital support cards directly within the app. By removing traditional barriers to participation, we transformed an act of generosity into an experience that was immediate, seamless, and accessible to everyone.

Building Technology That Serves Communities

Technology has changed how people shop, order food, and access services. We believe it can also change how communities come together around shared causes. One of the greatest strengths of digital platforms is their ability to connect thousands of individuals around a common purpose. While a single contribution may seem small on its own, technology allows collective action to happen at a scale that would otherwise be difficult to achieve. This campaign demonstrated the power of that idea. Thousands of people chose to participate, proving that when the tools are accessible and the process is simple, communities are ready to act.

Beyond Convenience

At HAAT, we often talk about creating frictionless experiences for our users. Usually, that means helping people access the services they need quickly and efficiently. But the same principle can be applied beyond commerce. This initiative challenged us to think about how technology can make community participation just as effortless as ordering a meal. By integrating giving directly into the user journey, we created a simple way for people to contribute without adding complexity to their daily lives. The result was not only support for 100 families, but also a powerful demonstration of how technology can strengthen social connection and community engagement.

What Tech for Good Means to Us

For us, Tech for Good is not a separate activity from our business. It is an extension of why HAAT was created in the first place.

HAAT was built to solve real challenges faced by so many through technology. That same philosophy continues to guide how we develop products, launch initiatives, and create opportunities for people to engage with one another.

And when thousands of people come together through the platform that was built for everyday life, even the simplest action can become something much bigger.
