Next Stop: Sakhnin

When we started HAAT back in 2019, we had a stubborn belief: that talent isn't concentrated in one part of the country, and neither should opportunity be. Seven years later, that belief is still driving every decision we make, including our newest one.

This month, we’ve opened awe're opening a new HAAT branch in Sakhnin, inside the NorthMed Innovation and Technology Center. It's our fifth location, joining our headquarters in Haifa and three offices in Umm al-Fahm. And honestly? It feels like one of the most meaningful steps we've taken so far.

Why Sakhnin?

Sakhnin isn't a random pin on a map for us. The Galilee is full of engineers, developers, designers, and graduates who shouldn't have to commute two hours each way just to build a career in tech in Central Areas.. The talent has always been here. “What’s been missing is the local investment in building a stronger hi-tech culture and ecosystem  the infrastructure, collaboration, and long-term support needed for it to truly grow.”

NorthMed has been quietly changing that. Over the past few years, it's grown into one of the most important innovation hubs in the north , a place where Arab entrepreneurs, medical-tech founders, and tech professionals can find mentorship, partners, and a real working community. When we started thinking about where to plant our next office, NorthMed was an obvious fit. We share a worldview with the people building it.

What This Office Means for Us

For HAAT, this isn't just an expansion , it's a continuation of what we've been doing since day one: bringing services, technology, and opportunity to places that have historically been overlooked by both.

The Opportunities We Want to Create

A new office is only as meaningful as the doors it opens. Here's what we're hoping Sakhnin will become for us:

• A place where local engineers and graduates can build long-term careers within their cities and communities without leaving home.
• A space for collaboration with other companies inside NorthMed.
• A pipeline of new hires, internships, and professional growth , especially for young people just entering the industry.
• And a base for us to keep expanding what HAAT can do as a technology and delivery company.

Marking the Moment

We’ve'll be officially opened opening the doors on May 14, 2026, with an event at NorthMed bringing together our team, partners, candidates, and friends from across the innovation and employment ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

Sakhnin is a milestone, but it's not a finish line. As we keep growing, our commitment stays the same: build great technology, create real opportunities, and make sure the next chapter of Local high-tech is written by people from every part of the country.
